Richla Davis, M.Ed, LCPC
Psychotherapist and Anti-Oppression Consultant
Many of my clients are people of color who are working in corporate spaces, struggling to navigate unsupportive work environments. Others are LGBTQ+ folks seeking community and healing. I help people who value self care, connection and accountability.
I believe in building a therapeutic relationship with my clients that is genuine and authentic. My goal is to normalize the human experience which includes pain, suffering and the desire for connection.
Many of my clients are BIPOC seeking relief from the stressors they endure from living in a marginalized identity.
It is my belief that a fulfilling relationship with the self and others can help people maintain emotional well-being and this model benefits those seeking relief from long term emotional distress. I incorporate narrative and relational therapy into my therapeutic approach while also utilizing an anti-racist lens to account for racial trauma.
I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and relationship conflict with extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ populations as well as with people of color working in corporate settings. My clinical work is driven by my passion to uplift, support, and advocate for marginalized communities.
