About Me
Richla Davis, M.Ed, LCPC
I grew up near the St. Louis area, though I have called Chicago home for over a decade. I am a proud "Double Demon”, receiving a BS in Psychology and a M.Ed in Clinical Community Counseling from DePaul University where I was adjunct faculty for the graduate counseling program. I love Chicago summers, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and an anti-oppression consultant. My passion for mental health and racial equity drives me to understand mental health disparities among marginalized groups. I train organizations in implementing anti-oppressive policies and practices. Additionally, I regularly consult with clinicians to assist them in adopting an anti-racist therapeutic lens. I am a proud member of the advisory board for Presence Wellness Center in Austin.
Knowing how important representation matters motivates me to continue the necessary work to ensure marginalized groups are protected and respected in all spaces that we navigate. Get in touch if you are interested in individual or group anti-oppression consulting.
